We had the most enormous white cabbage in our @oddboxldn last week. I have already served slaw as a side to quesadillas and tuna lasagne, and on jacket potatoes for lunch, and it's back on the menu again tonight. I have now managed to use approximately 1/3 of The Monster Cabbage. Luckily I adore coleslaw, but is there anything else I can do with it? #slaw #coleslaw #homemade #wastenotwantnot #lockdown
Husband is intercepting the children so I can lock myself away and do some work, but we hadn't reckoned on Henry Cat's pathological jealousy of my laptop. I popped the teepee up in the garden, along with the other bits and bobs I have put out for the homeschool play area, and Henry Cat instantly made himself right at home! There were some tears today, but some wins as well. Including these lovely #rainbows to go in our window. One of the pieces of work school set for the 11yo was to create a positive propaganda poster, and she came up with this rainbow theme 'We're all in it together. Just two metres apart.' And they both worked on a rainbow collage out of cut up magazines. 🌈🌈🌈 And then at 3.15 I had a mini breakdown and told my WAH husband that he had to take over for a bit as I was broken.
