I just voted for my local Labour MP who is the amazing @stellacreasy . Please, please, please go out and vote today for love not hate, for openness and diversity rather than prejudice, insularity and fear, for honesty not lies, for a greener world not a richer one, and for a government who will help the most vulnerable rather than exploiting them. Basically just vote whatever you need to vote in your constituency for the best chance of keeping the Tories out. #useyourvote #generalelection2019 #toriesout #thisgirlvotes #voteforthenhs #votelovenothate #votetruthnotlies #shevotes
I'm trying to take a quiet moment to read my @nigellalawson Christmas book, but Henry Cat feels that this interferes with his strokes quota, and keeps insinuating himself between me and the book. And then knocking my phone out of my hand when I try to get an instagrammable photo. 🙄 Honestly, cats. #saturdaycaturday #christmasfeels
Thank you to the lovely @foxgloveslondonjewellery for donating these BEAUTIFUL silver and pearl acorn earrings to the school Christmas Fair raffle, and to my lovely daughter for winning them and giving them to her mummy! #handmadejewellery #luckyme #luckymummy #lovelydaughter #schoolchristmasfair #whereistheacornemoji
When you have friends coming round for Sunday lunch so you buy posh buffalo mozzarella to make a salad for starter. And then you forget all about it because you just don't really do starters. And then you realise its Use By date is today, and it is just too damn cold for salads, but a sneaky Tuesday night pizza would really hit the spot. #homemadepizza #pizzatuesday #idontdostarters
Gorgeous afternoon eating pizza at @sodopizzalondon and then going to see Frozen 2 with my girls. Best. Disney. Film. Ever. We all cried and laughed a lot. And I walked home discussing colonialism, restorative justice and feminist and anti-feminist tropes in film with my 10yo. The 4yo just wanted to get her Elsa dress on and start freezing things. ❄️❄️❄️ #frozen2 #mygirls #being4 #being10 #sisterhood
My 10yo and her best friend are writing a school magazine, totally of their own volition. For the November issue they create a new recipe - lemon and poppyseed Remembrance cupcakes. 😍 #being10 #juniorbakers #remembrance #kidswhobake
